I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world (Jn 16:33). I don’t ever remember a more difficult year. You? It’s been a real nail-biter. It’s probably going to be a cliff-hanger, too—because I doubt all this mess will be cleaned up by day’s end.
