Wonder in Simplicity

That rustling of the leaves?

Is it a squirrel?

Bird?

Or a fresh wind from Zion?

That skiff across the stream's surface?

Was it from the flap of wings?

The swish of the minnow's tail?

Or from a spring of living water?

And what of that glistening on the hedge?

Is it sunlight dancing across its crown?

Or a spider spinning its silken web?

Or dew from heaven?

Let the Holy Spirit use nature

to capture your attention...

awaken awe of God in creation.

Set the screen aside

and step outside;

get lost in simplicity's wonder.
